I am looking to buy some new rims and either drag radials or slicks for my 80 Firebird. What is the largest rim and either slick or Drag radial that I can go to. Obviously I will be getting 15 inch rims for the slicks and want skinnes up front. So what width rim should I get. Also what back spacing etc do I need to get?

So basically I need to know:
1. First the width
2. Backspacing etc
3. What size rim and tire for the front.

Also With 500+ ft/lbs of torque, possibly 600+ with the nitrous, would drag radials be worth the money or should I just get slicks and swap them out when I get to the track. For now the car will be driven to the track. In the not so distant future the car will no longer be street driven and this will not be an issue as it will get to the track on a trailer.
