It is nothing more than an appearance mod.

Not worth $60 or whatever rediculous amount of money SLP wants for it.
Fernco couplings from Home Depot work just fine. Just might have to cut it down a little. $6

No real performance gains are to be had w/ the smooth bellows. The distance the air travels through the bellows to so minimal and not to mention the speed at which it goes through there. I would save your money and put it twords more worthy performance parts.
