Short and simple.
Will a 275/35R18 fit on a 18X9.5 rim? I know it's close but I'm asking all of you if it will.

Yes. With finesse.
But make sure the shop your getting them mounted at has good equipment, otherwise they could fuck up your rims trying to get those on. The other hard part about those is seating the bead when airing them up, its best if you have a *cheeta, but not all places have those. *cheeta = a tank of compressed air with a nozzle that will release it all at once to seat the bead on tough to mount tires. Used primarily for heavy truck tires, or very small sidewall high performance tires. |

Oh, and if you dont know what your looking at or for as per the mounting equipment, I prefer personally to the COATS brand mounting machines.
Just ask the place your getting them mounted at up to what size their machine will mount. If they tell you "Up to 18 inch" then find somewhere else that can do at least up to 20 inch. Trust me on this one. I've used both machines, and I NEVER go above a 17 on that one that goes "up to 18". |

Oh yea, I mounted tires myself there for a while with the PD. I know what your talking about, the big volume air tank that you can blast the bottom edge of the tires to make them air up so the beads can be seated. But yea the place I'm going to will have one that can support up to 20'' I think, it's a semi rim machine.
I was just wondering that because I'm sure the 315 will fit on the back just fine. And no not the DRs I have pics of, those are going on a pair of extra wide WS6 look-alikes that I found and am saving for.

This is what I used to find a snow tire that would fit. Play around with it, it will tell you if things fit or don't fit.
