That depends, lowered or not, BFH mod or stock fenders.

Since Nitto seems to run a tad narrower in width, my friend put nittro 315's, 555r's on a stock SS rim and does not rub at all, without the bfh mod.

You can run up to 315 nittos on the stockers yea. But it messes up your gearing because they are a good bit taller.
And if your tire place is giving you a hard time, f buying from them, just bring a set in form elsewhere and have them do the install.

How wide are the stock ws6 wheels? Cause unless they are 10.5+ you shouldnt put 315's on there, it messes the OD up badly. I have 9.5's in the front and only run 275's.

Stock is 275. That's what I said, you don't really want to do it because it'll mess up your speedo.
The thing is phate is the Nittos are narrow for a 300+ 275s are a bit small if you want max traction on the stock rims but will keep your final gearing stock (What I run off the track) . But also note, these tires will destroy your stock rear end. As well as the stock clutch if you launch them hard.

You just need to get a tire that measures to the same OD as the originals that came on the car.
