Cool Won't stay running

I have a 92 RS TBI I just purchased and it starts and runs for 10-20 seconds then tries to die, I put a tune up in it now it just idles real low then up to normal for 10-20 seconds then almost dies and idles back so on. If I spay cleaner in the TBI it adles fine, is this probabley a weak pump? Thanks in advance Rodger

First I would recommend checking your fuel pressure. This will help determine if its a bad pump or clogged fuel filter. For a TBI you should have 9-13 psi.
