It's really just all surface oxidation from being in AZ then Oswego NY (near a power plant where the rain destroyed the topcoat)

She's getting repainted soon so theres no worry, and the stuff on the roof it basically rustolium but a different type.

Have you decided what you're gonna do with the car as far as street or strip?

It's gonna be a street car that can race down the track somewhat "well".

Just got the engine back, good news was that it only was honed and didn't need any boring or anything. So she's still a 455, plus I just got some Edelbrock Heads, and I think I'm gonna go with a Performer Intake. We've also got a 750 cfm carb laying around, I was hoping to run around 850 or 900, but I might have to use the 750 for now to keep the price down on the whole project, not sure yet. Should be good for 500+ horse and 550 lb-ft easy.

Gonna keep the powerglide in it for now, nothing like 70mph 1st gear
This is also to keep the cost down on the project, gonna have a friend of my dads that owns a trans shop toughen it up a bit, but it will serve its purpose for what I need it to do.

They've both got +'s and -'s in High performance and regular driving.

The Torker gives you a higher powerband which can be good to even out the hp vs torque in the olds, but it also robs some torque down low which I never like even though I'll have extra to spare. Seems like most guys do prefer the Performer with setups like mine as I expected, but then once and a while you get guys who like the torker more too. I suppose I could try both out too, who knows.
