my other cars (Mustangs)
These mustangs belong 2 me and my husband:
Its a 1995 Cobra R clone, it has a 4.6 DOHC with a ported eaton blower and a T56. It puts down 492/467and should run mid to low 11's. I dont have a recent picture of it but it has the chrome 18'' FR500s on it now.
The above pic is of our 2003 Dark Shadow Grey Cobra it us undergoing a major transformation right now, we are building a forged 4.6 with an aluminum block, procharger F2 and a powerglide (or possibly a th400).
The Red one is an 1988 LX Coupe it has a mild 331 with AFR 165 heads, cobra intake and a vortech S trim, it puts down 485/481.
After my camaro is done it will smoke all of these

We picked up a wrecked 97 Z to swap the Lt1/T56 into my car, it will be going in mostly stock with bolt ons. We have an extra LT1 block that we will be buliding a forged 383 with and adding an advanced induction heads and cam package, with a little spray. After we put the 383 and 9 inch in the car, we are hoping for low 11s on the motor and mid to low 10's with a little help
it may not smoke the mustangs but it will be good competition

Ever consider a STS backdoor turbo setup for the Camaro?
Those stangs look nice. Though the LX needs less rim.

No we would rather make the power n/a and spray on top of that if needed, and stick with forced induction on the mustangs.
The LX is usually on the drag lites,we just had the 19's on there temporarily.

That LX is sweet! Def a good choice on the Camaro going with A.I., they put up some impressive results to say the least. Just my .02, but I would go Strange Engineering Dana60 over a 9" any day. It costs a bit less, weighs a bit less, sucks less HP to spin it, and it's stronger (the ring gear is 9.75" vs. 9")

Agreed, the only drawback is, well not everyone use them. So if your at the strip, good luck borrowing spare parts.

More like, good luck trying to break it. I ordered mine with a spool. I also got chromoly 35 spline axles, bigger studs. The total bill came to a touch UNDER 2grand. It is rated at Strange for well over 1500 HP. The posi Dana's are over 1200 HP. That should cover most of the cars on this board, lol.
