If the 331 ever lets go, a LSX swap would be the next combo (probably a forged LS3 with a direct port kit on it!)

See above.
Within the past two years in the Coupe and the Cobra we have been through 8 clutches, 3 Transmissions in the coupe, and broke the 3-4 slider (syncro assebly) and broke the input shaft on the T56. We also snapped an axle and broke a differential carrier in half.
The Coupe now has an Astro Performance Super T5 (or A5). It is bieng used in NMRA real street cars running 9s and pure street cars running 10s. (so was the G-Force T5 that ended up in pieces

)
All of these broken parts are in cars making just under 500 RWHP.
Now add another 300-400 more to the tires. A manual shocks the drivetrain so hard.
With an auto the drive train is pre loaded at the launch so it is a lot easier on parts.
