Default Hey Yall

Hey guys I just signed up. I got an 86 Pontiac Firebird and it won't start. I think I have narrowed the cause down to something electrical or the motor itself. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Not really sure. It has been a while since i tried but I know for a fact there is no juice in the battery at all. I'm going to try and charge the battery a good bit and see if that helps. I hope it does

Welcome!

What engine is it, and is it fuel injected or carb'd?

Charge the battery tonight, try again in the morning. If it starts trying to start up keep at it for a few minutes. After not being started for a while older vehicles become very stubborn. If it atleast tries to start and if you can do this (it would garner some better advice) record it while trying to start it. Just being able to hear an exact sound of what a car is or isn't doing can be very helpful over the 'net.

If you have a digital camera or can borrow one, just shoot a video of it and then upload it to photobucket. If you don't wanna spend all day on it uploading then just keep the video at or below 3 minutes. Or you can upload it to youtube.
