It is a relatively low mileage bone-stock 350 bottom end, with a good crank, new bearings. It has a shit-load of oil pressure. It never drops below like 35lbs, even at idle. On a cold start up it pegs the guage well over 80lbs, then settles to about 55-60lbs at a cruise.

u was told by someone at Speed Inc that thats very doable on a stock bottom end as long as your not spraying it and your engine is in good running order.

Shave the spring, you don't need that much pressure. I had a friend get like 20+ hp by just switching out from a high flow oil pump to a stocker on a tree fiddy. 70PSI at cruise down to 58 and yea, more HP. SO why not ya?

It is a bone-stock pump. We had no idea the pressure would be that high, not planned at all, just real tight clearances.
