Talking new bird

what's going on? looking forward to being a part of this site and meeting some cool f-body owners. i just bought a 2000 ws6,LOVE THE CAR!!.I own a 1980 trans am ws4 that i'm currently building, feels like i've been working on it forever!so i decided to buy a 4gen bird,again LOVE THE CAR!! but i'm not really upto par with the new age 5.7ltr.loking for some tips on how i can get more power out of the car with out breaking my pocket to much

what do you guy's think about the SLP cold air kit with lid? Is it worth the money?

All of the lids are good for LS1's. It should be a mandantory first mod, lol. Do the throttle body bypass (no hot coolant) free mod along with it. A nice cat-back and headers if money permits. Those 3 things really wake up an LS1. Is it an auto or a manual?

the car is an automatic (completely bone stock) i'll try and get some pics on the site asap.

The SLP lid is one of the best. MTI makes the exact same lid though, and you can get it clear, or carbon fiber. And it comes with an actual K&N where the slp is just the lid, you gotta order a filter separate.
