This looks like a great forum for F-Bodies!
I would like to introduce myself and you and let you guys (and girls) know about a great oportunity for some 2nd. Gen. Firebird owner to get a "free" set of Edelbrock headers. This is not a sales pitch of any kind. My name is Dennis Allen and I am the R&D manager of the Exhaust and Suspension division at Edelbrock Corp. in Torrance CA. We are currently looking for a 70-81 Firebird (with a Pontiac 305, 350, 400 or 455 V8) (with round exhaust ports) for header development. In exchange for the use of your car you will receive a set of the new headers FREE of charge, heck we'll even do the installation for FREE too. The current plan for the design is as follows: 1) (Flanges) Laser cut 3/8" thick flanges. 2) (Tubing) 409 stainless steel. 3) Tri-Y configuration 1 3/4" primaries, 2" secondaries, 2 1/2" collectors. 4) OE style spherical (graphite) dounut seal for the collectors. (If ground clearance permits) 5) (Coating) Ceramic bassed Ti-Tech coating. If you have any interest, questions or want to volunteer your vehicle for this header development send me a PM or e-mail and I will get back to you ASAP. Thanks Dennis |

Are you looking for 4-speeds?
I have a virgin 400/4-speed car I'd have no problem testing them on. Edit: Nevermind, I have 6x heads on that car so it uses D-ports.

Thanks for the warm welcoming guys!
This really is a good deal for someone with the right car. If you know of someone that has the right car please tell them to get in touch with me. Does anyone here know of another site that you think would be a good place to post this at? Thanks for the help! Dennis PS radandy We already make emissons legal and race headers for LS1's in F-bodies.
