Forums are Upgraded

We've upgraded to the latest version of our forum software.

You'll notice some new features (mostly in your profiles and things) like a friends list that is more "social networking" than the previous one, as well as some other cool things you can play around with.

Let me know if you run into any problems, just respond in this thread but things should be pretty smooth now.

A bit more details about the new additions with the newest upgrade.

1.) New user profiles with social networking things (friends, groups, visitor messages, albums).

• Profiles now have a tabbed view with "Visitor Messages", "About Me", "Statistics", "Friends", and "Contact Info".
• Visitor Messages: You can post messages within each persons profile. These are not Private Messages, other users can see them as well.
• Friends: Add people as friends to help to organize and speed up who you talk to on F-Body Online more often. To add someone as a friend, view their profile and click "Befriend ______"
• Groups: You can view groups by going to the "Quick Links" Pulldown in the header and clicking on "Social Groups". Users can create groups, join groups, post in group discussions and more.
• User Albums: We've now got user albums that you can upload and edit photos with. These will show in your profile to the right.

2.) Posting Options

• Thread Prefixes: In certain forums we now have "Prefixes" to organize threads easier (such as the Classifieds forum). If prefixes are available to use, they show in a pulldown right next to the thread title Text Box when you start a thread.
• Tags: When starting a thread, you can now add tags (Much like tags you'd see on a blog) which will index your posts according to the content you put in the tagbox. It'll help to make searching much easier in the future.
