I am having trouble playing home made CD's on my Firebird's CD changer.
Does anyone know the supported audio formats that the changer will play?

i have an 01 camaro, but as far as i know the changers are the same from those years...theyll play any burnt cd in normal audio format, but no mp3's...i think its called wma is what u want, but im not 100% sure

I think I may know what the problem is. The CDs you are using-are they just regualar CDs?

I had similar probelm in my Camaro and TA. Try burning to CDs rated for MUSIC...Memorex makes CDs specifiically for Music...I can burn any MP3 to one of these types of CDs and it will play.

I remember that in the manual there was a statement regarding the type f CD that had to be used for burning...had to have this rating. Ter is a stamp on those Memorex CDs. It is a Disc Digital stamp. Then the MP3s are recognized.

Just a suggestion. Have never had a problem playing anything I burn if I uses the Memorex Music CDs.
