what is the easiest way to remove the door bump guards and trans am lettering below it? i think the car looks great without it.

Im not exactly sure what your talking about.

If its stuck on with 3M tape, then dental floss and a heat gun (or hair dryer). If its vinyl, then just use the heat gun and slowly tear it off. Keep in mind, you may have a bit of a color change behind it, because of the age of paint.
