Im looking for a cheap touch up idea for a really small scratch on the side of my car. I have a black 90 Firebird, and I need to know exactly what type of paint that is so i can buy it.
Any other advice on sanding/painting? First time touching up a car, so it would be greatly appreciated. |

At Auto Zone, they have the little touch up paints for all types. there really isnt any way for me to tell you what color black you have, you can look up the paint code and that will tell you. Its usually on the inside of the drivers side door on the information sheet. but the touch up paint is like 4 bucks at Auto Zone

How deep is the scratch? If the scratch isn't to deep you might be able to buff it out after first wetsanding it. And I'm pretty shure that theres a paint code in your VIN number.
