Hey I was just wondering if the shifter on an automatic where it says PRND321, the steering wheel radio controls and the switches for the locks and windows are suppose to be lighted like the rest of the interior. None of these are on mine, so I just wanted to see if it came that way or mine are all dead. It's a 1998 Firebird. Thanks.

I know the gear indicator lights up, I dont have radio controls in the wheel, and I cant member about the lock and window switches.

yea gear indicator lights up. Theres a little light that shines on the lock/window switches, but the switches themselves dont light up. Idk about steering wheel controls.

Wow, I guess I'll have to figure out how to change them. They didn't change what lights up in the car from 98 to 00 did they?

I dont believe they did any changes on the interior lighting

Phil you window/lock switches light up? or just that little red light above them

Yeah, the light is above them, my bad.

No changes in the interior. I believe on the interior it stayed the same from 97-02 once they changed center consoles in 97. IIRC the steering wheel lights are fuses and I know someone on here replaced their lights, may have even done it with LEDs.

mine all light up, dash,steering wheel, gear selector ect. but they should all light up.

cept. the doors to my knowledge. ill check mine again though. but im sure they don't
