Default Only took 4 days....

Detailed the hell out of the Trans Am.
Clay bar, wash down with a 50/50 mix of alcohol and water.
Did a light cut with some Menzerna using the PorterCable. Wiped off.
Then polished with Prima Amigo using a polishing pad on the PorterCable. Wiped off.
Then two coats of that Victorias Concours wax.

Beginning...

Swirls...

Materials...

After clay bar and wipe down....

Working on the cut...

Wheels...

Afters...

Only thing that gets me is the orangepeel of the factory paint.
That and the car is actually driven, so the front shows it.
What do you think??

He forgot the tire shine If you do that through man it never looks good unless you get every inch of the tire tread as well so every visible inch of the car will shine, make sure you use armorall because it shines the best on the treads.

Looks good, never done a 4 day detailing job, usually my good ones take about 6 hours, and thats why no mech buffer but I tend to rush it a bit.

and thank god I'm not the only one who hates tireshine. It looks tacky to me, and why the hell do i want to focus on the sidewalls of the tires when there is a car above them.

The only reason it took 4 days was work and my daughter. I wasn't able to focus 7-8 hours in one day to it.

So whats the best Wax and Polish or combo you've used so far Slowass?

You seem like you've tried quite a few and all I've got is Mothers and Maguires and need something for both of my black cars.
