I have a '95 Camaro Convertible. Someone broke the passenger side visor and it hangs about 2 or 3 inches lower than the driver's side. I tried repairing / rebending it, but no luck. I'd like to replace them, preferably with leather ones (black) (the originals are that cheap material and it's starting to stretch / wrinkle. Also the elastic in the bands that go around the visor is shot and I just double them over and tuck them in the visor mirrors (I NEVER even used the stupid elastic bands! They stretched without any tension)
Does anyone have a set in good condition or can refer me to a link or make a suggestion? (I thought about tearing them apart, trying to repair it, and having them recovered, but sounds like too much work and money, for what it's worth!)
I'd also like to upgrade the whole interior to leather (black or that dark slate gray). I've been looking on ebay, but I'm just concerned I'll be buying someone else problems. It looks like the leather doesn't wear so well (neither does that cloth stuff). How can you care for it better or is there an alternative to a stock interior? (aftermarket replacement or professional quality seat cover replacements? (not the $50 sets from AutoZone).
