Default 1996 taurus SHO?

My friend just bought one, and hes modded it lightly with intake. Will i be able to take him in a 1/4 mile?

Seems like it would be slow because its big and has 100k+ miles, but he claims hes already smoked a v6 firebird and camaro.

its a 97 i believe

hmm, the 96's pushed out about 225 hp while the 97's pushed out about 235 hp. A stock v6 fbody yes, he would beat but yours would be close, he might get you tho, sorry. But of course there's only one way to find out...

The stronger 1997 SHO does 1/4 mile in 15.7, with a 0-60 of 7.5. With your mods you'd get him "fo sho"... wow that was a horrible joke on my part.
