After spending the afternoon with my sisters and their kids I headed home early because I had things to do, and a wicked sunburn.

On the way home in my Trans Am on the highway a semi was behind me as we were both going the same speed (70in a 65 area with lots of hills and turns) and he didn't have the grunt, or the will really, to pass me. But apparently a Jetta behind him did. He went brraping by and I could hear a faint whistle so I got out of 6th and followed him closely for a few hundred feet before grabbing 4th and making the nose lurch at the dude's bumper. Apparently he saw that and got scared because he hit it and didn't let up, though the bike on his hood sure slowed him down I'm sure.

I slow back down to my original speed and the semi once again gets about 50' form my butt, and right as a car was coming past us from a ways off I hear the wailing of a inline 6 in a M3 coming form behind me. This guy could -could- get back behind me with plenty of space and let the oncoming traffic go by before passing me. But no he thought he was going to pass me as well. I once again grab 4th and pace him for about three seconds before he dips in behind me, meanwhile the semi comes marching right up behind him and pushes the guy close to my bumper. I dunno how close he was but I could see the scared look in his eyes as that international was nearing his precious brautmobile. After about three more cars got past us he got in it and left us behind.

After slowing into town the driver gets along side me and gives me a thumbs up before Getting behind me again for some oncoming road work. Its' fun feeding humble pie to stuck up bastards that think having a German car means they have more right to the road than you.

I know this is an old thread but man, I can't stand people with ego on the roads. Yes, I'm proud of my car but safety is the #1 thing! I've come to the realization that most luxury sedan owners (anything Lexus, Infiniti, even Chrysler 300's, etc.) are extraordinarily rude drivers. It's all I can do to not mess with these kinds of people. Especially the ones that tail you, then jump in another lane just to get around you and swerve into an exit lane just before slamming into the water barrels instead of waiting 2 seconds and leisurly taking their exit.

Sorry, needed to vent!
