Default 2 kills 1 night

i raced my buddies jetta 1.8t and smoked the hell out of it. then a mazda3speed figured itd get cocky with me- i beat him bad (im talking 10-15 car lengths)

im beginning to think that the mustang i ran the other night had more than just exhaust...if i can whip on turbo cars. im not sure what my friend has in his jetta but i know its a bigger turbo

i know about the mazda, but that jetta should have smoked your car...Especially if it had a bigger turbo. (and if he could drive)
when i had my jetta i was smoking grandam GTs....dont they have the same engine as your car but weigh less???

It might have depended on the year, but it has a standard 4 cylinder and the GT still only has the 3.4L w/ 170hp (175 Ram Air) not the 3.8. So you probably could have smoked that in a Jetta...

Nice kills. What kind of performance mods have you done?

Well the base Mazda 3 has a 2.0L 4 cylinder with 148HP and does 0-60 in like 10 sec. (even using the manual tap-shift) so I'm assuming thats what you raced if you smoked him that bad.

I think a lot of people underestimate 3800 fbodys, they really aren't that slow and I'm not saying that just because I have one. My family is full of V8s and I've driven them all and my V6 still feels fast after driving them.
