Default Another pony kill

Yep, just like the title says, I killed yet another pony (Does that make me a bad person? )

Ok, so, driving home from my girlfriends house (1-hr freeway drive) and I'm cruising in fifth at 60 (55mph zone, coming up on the 65 zone). White early 90s Mustang GT 5.0 passes me, slowly, but still does. I hit the gas a little to catch up. I'm killing to race again (been scared to do any speeding since I got a speeding ticket, 88 in a 65). I start toying with the guy. passing him, letting off, letting him pass me, repeat. Finally he goes by, fast. I catch up to him, and get next to him. Before any horn sounds he goes off. I'm scared at this point because I saw what I didn't see earlier when I was toying with him (tinted windows + no street lights + 11 at night = over-seeing minor details). Cowl hood, which means one of two things. He has a built engine under the hood, or he has the hood for style only. Getting back on topic, As he pulls off, I stay waiting for him to slow down. I slowly catch up and drop it in third and sit at 70 attempting to show my frustration with him. He does it again but I slam the gas to the floor. He never stood a chance 70-130 and I had ATLEAST 5 car lengths on him. I slow down (Caught up to a semi) and waited for him. He slowly comes up and inches ahead of me, I roll the window down and as I pass give him a thumbs up. I got my excitement for the night. After a couple interstate turns he pulls next to me again, rolls his window down, gives me a thumbs up and yells "good race, sweet ass car!" I nod and pull behind him, drop it in 3rd and pass. get up to 100 and let off. Half a mile later I pull off at my exit. Fun night. Plenty of gas wasted, but fun night. hahaha. I love my SS

If its not from a dead stop, i've never really seen the point in it.

But it might have something to do with the fact that I have no top end powerband either lol.

I agree for the most part. All it is is mashing the pedal and hoping you win.

I like races from a dig much more. Also run the risk of the other retard losing control and hitting you easier though

I dunno why you were worried man, unless you can hear his exhaust over your own a Stang usually hasn't got the balls to hang with you. Unless you hear a whistle. But I haven't come across one like that, ever. Least on the streets.

Yeah, I know of one stang that would just so happen to have that "Whistle" sound and it looks exactly like this one...which would explain why I was nervous...

Those Fox bodies are classic. There are some really fast ones out there, don't let your guard down! That guy knew he was owned though but at least he was game enough to play.

Nice lookin' SS you got there.

No kidding, the ones you -really- wanna be worried about are the ones that are stock quiet.

Even with a S/C, the cobras are a joke comparativly. Granted, I dont have much room to talk, im only running about 375 with the spray, and I would get raped, but im saying for any decently modded SS, it should be dinner for the good ol' catfish.

Yea I've seen slips on 4.6s with boost up kits only pushing 350 to the wheels.

Though any stock LS-1 isn't touching that, ever. 350 to the wheels is full exhaust and lid territory.
