Both V8s? If they're both V8's or Both V6s, most likely going to be the 99.

Although if he's betting money with you, he's got more done most likely.

If it's V8 vs V8 then the 99 will take the Camaro. The LS1 is just such a powerful engine. Even if its V6 vs V6, the 3.8l would smoke the 3.4l. On the off chance that he has a LT1 in his Camaro and you have a V6 in your bird, then that Camaro would win for sure with mods listed.

If thats all he's got done, you should be able to beat him, although he's probably a bit more familiar with his car and launching than you if he's older. So you're going to want to get a good launch.

Also, I'd be weary of what he's got done to it, because he's likely got more if he's willing to put $$ down.
