I was coming home from work yesterday (today), at about 3am, and was sitting at a stoplight, and up next to me pulls a flat black 2nd gen maro. I hear it camming, but barely, cause it had what sounded like a stock exhaust on it.
He looked at me and beeped the horn once, and I nodded. I rarely ever street race, but I knew this would be over quickly lol. The light turns, and we both spin a little, I get traction before him and the nitrous is spraying and im thinking 'wow, im actually ahead' but before I even mentally said the word 'actually' I hear a bov and all motor blowing past me like im a granny. Needless to say I just laughed and let off of the throttle, I didnt even make it into 3rd gear. He pulls over into a mcdonalds parking lot, and I follow just to talk to him for a second. Its a twin turbo LT1 chrome everywhere, cam, heads, the works. We chatted for a minute, and he was pretty nice. Gotta love seeing an old car that can haul ass. |
