Default Oldsmobile Intrigue vs v6 Camaro

Ayy.

So i was on my way home driving in my Olds Intrigue from school and happened to see a 4th Gen v6 camaro in the fast lane. I zoom right by him, hoping he will catch up to me and he does.

He honks 3 times, and were off, i was about a car length ahead of him for about 10 seconds till my Rev limiter topped out at 111.

Keep in mind, my olds is bone stock. I thought it was pretty funny, gettin wooped by an old w-body grandmas car haha.

Just goes to show you how slow those v6's are stock.

No offense, but those Olds aren't too fast either bone stock. Sounds like you raced a bad driver.

Not too fast?

If i can beat v6 mustangs and camaros off the line and in the end with my automatic FWD grandmas car.

then what is my car?

I kinda agree with Phil here, even the bone stock 3.8's run high 14's with a good driver and RT.

^What Phate said. And beating a V6 'Stang isn't anything to brag about.

Isnt it also a 4 door which would make it heavier? you make similar HP probably, but as far as torque and getting jump off the line I dont think you could take him. Maybe he had a 5spd and sucked at a stick. idk, technically you shouldnt have beaten him, but you did, so a wins a win.
