Default What should it run.(NOT CAMARO)

My Brother has a 1978 Chevy Nova he is finishing and should be done soon. It has a 327 its 9.6-1 speedpro pistons, lunati 504 lift cam, 64cc 2.02 aluminum edelbrock performer heads, weind accelerater intake, 700cfm Holly double pumper, crane roller rockers, comp pushrods, aluminum radiator, 2000 stall,

what do you guys think it will run with 350 turbo with a shift kit and 4:10s on street tires.

Thanks

Just a "pull it out of the hat" guess, somewere between 11-15's. Again just a very big guesstimate.

It will run low 13's.

1.Ditch the Weiand Accelerator manifold. Get an Edelbrock Performer RPM ($200.00)
2.That's a pretty big carb for a smallish motor. It will be hard to tune it. If you get it to run good, keep it, if not I would suggest a 750 Vacuum Secondary.
3. A 2000 stall is just crap, for a car with 4.10's. That's barely above stock. Get a 3500rpm one set up for nitrous (it will be tight). Nitrous converters will still flash up on the launch but they aren't real sloppy-loose when you are just cruising around town. Go on Ebay, but DO NOT buy one of those generic converters. Buy a NAME-BRAND used one. The deals are out there. I picked up a BIG$$$$$$ Art Carr converter for $214.00 last year.

With these 3 different parts the car will be in the 12's.

If I had to guess I'd say somewhere in the 12s if he can drive.

That post makes zero sense.

12's as it sits, unless it has a stiffer chassis and suspension, then it will be in the 10's???!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

To run a 10.99 you'd need about 400HP AT THE WHEELS and a PERFECT set up ie: big stall, slicks, weight transfer, which would equate to about 475 at the crank. Do you really think a 327 cube motor with a dual plane intake and a street cam will hit that? I'd guess and say the car will be around 290ish at the wheels (340 or so at the crank), which is about what a stock LS1 would do. Stock LS1's run low-mid 13's.

how does it not make sense i didnt say just firmer i said a CUSTOM, PROFESSIONAL tubular frame, (it lighter and stiffer) and id figure anyone would know you need slicks to plant the power you gonna need to harness this is pathetic that i have to elaberate so much just to not be considered an idiot... and lets continue since i have to elaborate... roll cage, wheelie bars, 30in slicks not DOT drag radial they wont good enough, heavily modified suspension and the driver himself better be on a diet, a 4link would be necessary, just to run 10's
