Default 1969 Camaro Drift Video

Who says Camaro's cant drift?

I don't like the actual recognized Drift events basically because its more of a judging competition than a race, and can be compared to the likes of ice skating judges. I like it when I can clearly see who wins so there isn't any BS floating around. I'm not taking away from Drifters, most of them are obviously very talented, but not a fan of the "Sport".
However, doing it for fun and not competition gets a big from me.

Anyways, heres more information on that camaro.

Very impressive.

I went autocrossing in my camaro last month in a state event for shits and giggles, needless to say I got stomped. While I might be a pretty good driver (I had the best newbie time there, even against the import newbies) I cant stand against a decked out STI with a professional driver. I think my best time was 39 seconds, his was 32 seconds (HUGE difference) and the next guy up from him was at 35 seconds.

Autocross and drifting takes a TON of skill and control, but the car also makes a massive difference.

Every type of automotive racing or competition takes skill, and people will push eachother very hard to the limits.

Only thing I dislike is the people that argue against Drag Racing because it's "Easy", these are the guys that you can tell, haven't, and never will go to a drag strip. Tell any Prostock driver, Funny car driver it's easy and see what they say.

I'd like to see any one of the idiots that spurt this BS to get into a 5 second Funny car and try go to straight down the track

I do like watching drifting, I just don't watch the judging. I do like the 2 car drifting though, thats really sweet

Bumpercars don't drift Korndogg.

And I like the sport, the single runs are there just to eat up time IMO. And you driving single lets you get really wild. Doing tandem sometimes you have to slow down for the other driver when he leads and that kills your ability to drift.

And it being timed would kill it. Noone would go wide then because you do that to scrub off speed.
