That car is much more than a motor swap. It's a Corvette wrapped in a Civics body.. literally. He even put the Vette interior in there, with ALOT of work.

He had a wrecked Vette with a good drivetrain, and a good Civic body with a bad drivetrain if I remember.. so he combined the two.

You should see his other cars.. I'll see if I can dig up and old thread I posted on A-R with this car in it and get the pictures over here.

Basically, he had a Civic hatch laying around.. and a 2000 Corvette laying around..

So what did he decide to do?

Well, he took the body off of the Corvettes drivetrain, and the body off of the Civics drivetrain.. and dropped the Civic body onto the Corvette drivetrain.



He is not close to finished at all, but here is a video of it running:
