Stuff like that used to bother me, but now that I think about it, it really doesnt.
I am a HUGE Oldsmobile guy, and I used to get pissed everytime I saw a Olds at a car show, because I
knew 95% of them had chevy 350's. The 350 is a decent engine, but you can get a 455 Olds for next to nothing because no one seems to know what they are, and stock they almost snap your neck from the amount of torque they have.
I don't mind a Ford in a Chevy, Chevy in a Ford, or even mopar etc... If its all you got in your garage or something, then by all means just chuck it in anything you have. I'm all for Going Fast, however you do it.
If you guys think you're anal, the Mopar freaks get REALLY REALLY angry, when their angel HEMI's get dumped for something else
Oh, and I still love the newer RX-7's with LS-1's. A nice car, with some power instead of a wankel POS
