Your pics look good....but....2 things.
#1. Why a scrap yard for a background? That really look bad IMO. Try a sunset, sunrise, near a bridge or overlook. #2. Try to center you car in the picture, having it off to the side just looks wierd. Otherwise you take good pics, just choose a better back drop and center them up !!!

Photography has a "rule of 3rds" that says to often not put your focus right in the middle of the photo.

Some very nice pictures. Indutrial areas are always cool backgrounds. I think the lighting was pretty good as well. I agree that it is nice to have your subject the center of attention for most pictures. When shooting vehicles it's always nice to also include some of the background, but you don't want it to over power the subject (your car). One suggestion I would offer is to not alway shoot your car straight on. Angle shots (1/2 and 3/4) are always cool as are close-ups and actually angling the camera. The pictures that you posted...very good and look forward to seeing some more.

Not sure what you mean with the 1/2 3/4 but if referring to half of the car in the shot, thats a big no no. If your shooting a car, your sopose to get all of it in the shot. Sure if your doing an artsy photo then okay i can understand.
Angle the camera? maybe every once in a while but for a serious shot, i think not. I'd angle the camera if i wanted to get on the cover of Import Tuner Magazine But thanks
