Default Street Racing Video

I like having fun on the road as much as anyone else, but, this is why I don't approve of 'street racing'.

That is just sad,but unfortunately it happens.
IF i street race,it is never in a populated area.Usually on an expressway or something like that.Notice in the video the lamborghini is sitting right by a school bus parking lot.

I hate to hear stories like that where innocent people get hurt. I very seldom street race but the few times I have where out on back roads with no houses or traffic.

Very sad video. As everyone else has stated, when I do race it's on a not so populated road and I never go higher than 80mph.

Yea but that vid they say the impact on those cars was around 80mph.

There's a big problem with that particular race. One, the drivers were racing near a school. Two, the streets were occupied. Three, they weaved in and out of traffic.

More than 90% of the accidents I know of involving street racing are on crowded city streets. I will never ever run down a street towards oncoming traffic even if they're on the other side of a median. You just don't run when they're traffic.

Downplaying Street racing as something dangerous (and also exciting) is stupid because you make it out to be something only the "cool kids" do. That only aggs kids who aren't' skilled into doing stupid stuff like race down a freeway at 100+ during rush hour. There's a different way of doing that and it's actually laying down rules that suggest when it's appropriate. Saying no isnt' gonna stop it, but giving guides for someone to use so they don't end up "loosing" (Hey noone wants to loose because they "cheated" themselves into the side of another car.) and killing people in the process. Its' liek drinkign underage, or smoking. Chances are you'll do it at least once.
