I figured I'd check out the local race scene around here. It was a good time, and the prices were really good as well.

Here are some pictures. Still haven't fully figured out this camera, but the "Sport" option is nice for capturing fast moving objects. Still very hard to guess the right time to press the button as the car is going by to get it in frame.

All those pictures were during Hot laps (warmups). It got dark as the actual races were going on, so I couldn't get any good shots especially at the speed they were moving.



Also a History day at the track, found this beautiful Oldsmobile


It's an actual old Winston Nascar from back 20+ years ago, driven by Dave Marcus and restored to racing condition.

And if anyone has seen the Movie cars. I drooled over this one, an Actual Hudson from the 50's
