How badass would it be to get hired as a test driver for GM... dream job anyone?

I just got my new car and liar (driver) and they said that it runs 11.0 in the 1/4 mile.....man they need to hire a real damn driver. The current Zo6's best time in stock form was a 10.8, which leads me to beleive that w/ a bad ass driver the ZR1 will see low 10's off the show room floor......DOWN RIGHT SICK !!!!!! Viper what?? Ferrari what?? Porsche what???

I don't think it'll see 10s bone stock those 20s in the back is the worst thing honestly for forward acceleration.

^ IDK man, yeah typically they are bad, but I seriously doubt that GM would have the cost that they do on a car that wont perform up to that cost. Hell, they may be 20's, but I bet they are light weight and can carry a damn 335 or larger DR tire for track useage. And if you get someone that can row gears and launch that sucker it WILL hit 10's, power to weight does not lie......car and driver got it to a 11.0 flat, that right there should tell you that someone else can and will hit 10's easily. Hell, I remember can and driver had my car listed as doing an average of 13.5 @104 in a 6 speed 2001 LS1 camaro. My 1st time to the track I got it down to a 13.1 @ 107 on shitty street tires and full weight and full tank of gas......they just cant drive.

They're that big to fit the 15" ceramic carbon brakes inside them.

They are 335 custom made Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires - P285/30ZR19 in front and P335/25ZR20 in the rear.

Well a DR is hardly stock

I'm sure it'd haul ass with a proper drag tire but honestly for that kind of scratch you could possibly swap the rims for something smaller and put tread on them.

Regaurdless the ZR1 isn't about dragracing. It's about dominating actual road courses. If it were about the 1320 it'd come shod with a pair of 15s in the back and skinnies up front.

I saw the zr1's drive up at work in person and I gotta say that the video above doesn't do it justice. Can't wait for the car to hit production
