Default Anyone Ever Spun Out?

I'm not talking about doing it on purpose for fun, I'm talking about a legit spin out that you don't expect. I had one yesterday on my way home while it was raining and was on a really sharp turn that I usually take at about 30 MPH, and all of a sudden I lost control. I just let off the gas and turned into it, luckily I didn't hit the tree that was about 5 feet away from where I stopped and spun into a vacant lot. Anyone ever had this happen to them?

I've never personally spun out, even in the winter here, but it doesn't take much sometimes. My Camaro does not like going sideways, and it usually catches within a second of starting with just a tad of correction (over-correcting gets more people than the original slide)

I've done it a few times. Happened today even as I was going around a corner form a dead stop in my Honda. Went from slush to glare ice thanks to a temp of about 8*. Damn bank has to use metric.

Yep.

Mine was more out of suprise though. It was raining, and I was 45 minutes late for work after oversleeping, so I was doing 70 in a 45, (I've traveled this road enough to what I can do on it) but right as I come up to the biggest curve of the road, a sherriff comes around, I panic and brake, and my back end comes around on me lol, I do a little fishtail then regain control.

Long story short, reckless endangerment + speeding ticket

Yep and it scared the crap outta me to. I was going around a curve when I pushed my brakes to slow down the right side front brake locked up and I spun a 180 right there. Luckly no one was coming the other direction cause that would have sucked.

I was taking a turn in my AE86 when the steering rack broke... not fun, and a lot of $ in parts.

Ended up having to replace the following:

2 wheels (car stopped when it hit a tall curb)
Steering rack and pinion
panhard bar
front driver side control arm and suspension
driver side brakes

luckly the rear axle didn't break, it just compressed then popped back into place...

Just this afternoon I was leaving a hand car wash, and the car decided to slide out sideways on me just rolling out of first. My rear tires are shot!
