Just got back a couple of hours ago from Charlotte, NC. Picked up a No. Carolina Highway Patrol car that my youngest bought. 358 miles from there to No. Georgia!!! Car ran great, 24 MPG runnin 75 MPH.

Some of them were 1LE's right?

If thats the case you could throw it on LS1tech and probably make double what you paid. The Bareboned optioned cars are in high demand.

Jeff, you found a cool car for Zach. Being what it is, you have a good suspension and brake package. Maybe you could get the gear that's missing( lights, radio, radar, guns, etc.) and reinstall and have fun at shows with it. Can't wait to see it.

I wondered when someone would put 2 and 2 together.But he paid for this one with money he saved and the cash from ins. co. after he wrecked hi 98-Z. I just flew over and drove it back. Will get some pics and hopefully get them posted up. Jeff

Mines a 1LE but its not a former patrol car. I ordered mine that way. Only thing mine has that I checked off on the order sheet was : LS1 V8, 6 speed, Monsoon stereo. No t-tops, no power anything !!!! Bought back in june 2001 new for $ 19,250 out the door.....bang for the buck rules !!! Wonder what I could get for mine if I sold it ? 80k miles on a 2001 no options car.....probably not much at all
