Well, I got bored and decided I wanted to lower the Isuzu a little. This thing is cheap/easy as pie to lower. 3" blocks in the rear, and as soon as I get a new center link and idler arm for the front, just use the torsion bars to drop it.

Pictures of the rear lowered, can't even tell really...

This picture makes the rear look lower than it really is, I think it's angled a little.

Yeah, the topper is back on.. it's ugly as fuck, but it's handy as hell. Better gas mileage, keeps my tools/groceries/dog out of the weather... although I am thinking of getting a soft tonneau cover, or one that rolls up. The front will get slightly lower than the rear, I want it to be raked a little.

Yeah, it's missing paint.. alot of it. A long time ago some drink asshole backed into me and it just had a small spot, well, the stress cracking/driving it got the better of it.. hopefully she will have a storage to sit in tomorrow. :'(

I have some new parts for the Camaro laying around, need to get a few more. Going to be swapping for rear discs pretty soon, have some of my parts to get a black interior swap started.. anyone have a black interior they are getting rid of? Let me know.. even 4th gen interiors..

That's a picture from when I first got it, to compare the lowering.. I don't take pictures of that thing.

And yes, my car in its current condition seriously makes me want to cry.

I am so confused with that thing to be honest, I LOVE the hell out of the car, but sometimes I want to sell it. I don't know why.. but I feel like complete shit when I think of selling it. I can't even imagine how I would feel if I actually did...

It's weird considering I used to say I would never, ever sell it...

I have been there myself. I was thinking of selling my Bird but like you I just couldnt get myself to do it. I just kept tinkering around with it and before I knew it I had it in pretty good shape. Now I am very glad I kept it!!

I am getting bad though, sometimes I feel depressed just knowing it's in the shape that it's in. And I do mean depressed, not just feeling bad.. depressed.

It used to be when I drove it it was the best thing on earth to just be in my car, but now I don't enjoy it like I used to. I don't know what the hell is wrong, maybe it's just because I want it fixed up soo bad, but can't afford to do it right now.

I don't know, I'm just confused.

Well just think about it real hard. Maybe your getting tired of the car and want something different later on or maybe you can just set it back and wait a till you can afford to do the work on it. My Bird sat around for 6 years before I started putting money into it.
