Phillip Rivers grew up across the street from me. His dad was my PE coach in high school.

So I'm kindof a Charger's fan, too.

PE was kindof a joke at Decatur High, so it didn't really matter who was "teaching" . He was the head coach for the football team, too. When Phillip became a freshman, he took the head coaching position at another high school in the area and Phillip QB'd for them. I guess that was my junior or senior year. I'm not really sure why they did that. There were enough years between Phillip and myself that I never was really friends with him, but I knew who he was.

So hows everyone's NFL and NCAA teams looking?

USF Bulls finally got ranked, apparently it's the fastest any football program has become ranked in modern times. Bulls also kicked the crap out of UNC today 37-10, and the TD they gave up in the 4th was with all of their backups in.

Bucs won an easy game, face the Rams tomorrow, very eh so far this season.

The University of Tennessee is having a rough year. Indy looks pretty good.

You have no idea how badly I wanted them to beat UF.

EDIT: Bucs just won 24-3 vs the Rams. Wish I could watch the Eagles/Lions game, talk about a shootout.

Been stuck being a Vikings fan due to family history in that state. Hate them though, but i would have proffered to see the Cowboys beaten by them this year. Vikings have just lost it since their 'almost-super bowl' year.
