The car is probably a VIN swap car. Tail lights/rear bumper/wrap around rear glass weren't available on the 73's.

That car was probably originally a '75, based on the wrap around window and the rear bumper. The rear bumper, though could have came off a '74. Same bumper, but the rear window indicates it's a 75, as previously stated the flat window was changed in '75. The quarter panels are also different from the '73's, as they don't have the recession for the big rubber bumper.
