So I have to vent a little. One of my friends has a 240sx and runs 16 with it and thinks if he buys a 240sx with a turbo that puts out 300hp that he would kick my ass. Don't any god damn import drivers know that you lose a shitload of power to the wheels becasue you have a small little engine. That a car with 100000 miles on it is just going to blow up. And he thinks he will run 12s and gets all pissy when I tell him he run 14s.

The Fast and the Furious makes every Import owner think they've got a race car.
I don't mind 240SX's for what they are. There are some well-built imports that can easily hold their own. However, thinking that CAI and a few other mods will make you a V8 killer is a common myth many of them have.

My car has 108,000 miles, what are you sayin'
Imports aren't so bad, the owners however.... Almost all cars loose 10-20% of power through the drive line. 300 hp is almost what you have in your camaro. Torque is not as important in a lighter vehicle. It will be a fast 240sx; and a good race between you and him. He won't run 12's |

I know how you feel. This one ricer I ran into was bragging about hitting 16.9 in his early 90's Civic, I believe my response was "I didn't think people had to work to get to 16.9."
