I'd give their face a "fender bender"

Saw this about a week ago on corvetteforums.

I hope that this is all true, because if it isn't, this guys business is still completely destroyed. That is one thing I really don't like about those type of threads. People can work very hard, and with 1 misunderstanding it can all be lost because of how big and powerful some of these boards are.
*not saying this shop isn't at fault, just something to think about.

Oh I know. Heres the worst part, one of my club sponsors is Carolina Auto Masters. So they have completely lost my respect in any instance. I run a buisness, and what he did is an amazing no no.

PS - I've heard through a good source that the ECM up and 'disappeared' after the wreck, so there is no way to draw out G-Force, Speed, Acceleration, Air-Bag Deployment, and other data from it to provide the vette owner with a little backing on the misconduct of the driver.

Disapperance of the ECM? They don't just grow legs and walk away, looks like an admission of guilt to me.

They are claiming it was lost at the wreck site apparently. And it was thrown away with the other debris. Which I dont believe for a moment. (How does a metal box that is screwed into a very large wiring harness, that should be recognized by either the officer responding, or the tow truck driver, get discarded?)
