the banshee's a fun ride,I had a 2001 that I traded for my wife's 95 formula.I got tired of my youngest boy stealing it,and having all the fun on it,so it got traded.If you have kids,I suggest putting a padlock on the sprocket.Have fun!!

Lmao, too true SW. First up on the upgrades for that my friend is the last year Airbox. They are NOTORIOUS with the old box for ripping filters. Second is tires (already done) Thirdly, pipes and a rejet, fourth, get a FMF powervalve head. Those two power mods will give you a nice bottom end grunt boost that the stocker sorely lacks.

thanks for the info. i've owned a few four strokes and a couple honda atc 250r's but this is my first banshee (2001) can't wait! driving 220 miles (round trip) to pick it up...someday maybe i'll take a trip out west to ride the dunes

i tell ya it's getting pretty difficult finding places to ride in mass without having to drive 2 hours to get there
