Yeah I just heard about that on the local sports radio show. I hope he pulls through and can make a recovery for next season.

I heard on the radio that he's now in critical condition but it could still go either way.

I've been through all the parts of Miami (not just the beaches), and if I lived there, there is no doubt in my mind that I'd want a gun on me at all times. As Taylor learned, a machette does you no good vs a gun.

Well he was in his Bedroom and heard someone, that is what many reports said. He opened the door and was shot.

He also had filed a police report about a break in a week ago.

In that incident, someone left a kitchen knife on a bed in Taylor's house, according to the police report. Damage was also "observed to the A/C vent in Taylor's bathroom.''

"After Monday's shooting, Taylor's girlfriend tried to call police from the house line, only to discover the line had been cut. She had to use her mobile phone to call 911, which delayed response time" said Redskins Vice President Vinny Cerrato.

''This was a deliberate attack,'' Cerrato said.

Good news is he has responded to doctors requests. He squeezed the Doctors hand, and also was making facial expressions. He hasn't opened his eyes yet, but one step at a time.
