You also have to ask yourself why it's at a salvage yard. The guy did say he piston slap was "severe". That's a good idea to see if they'll yank the motor and deduct the cost. What would your plans be for the car anyways? Are you going to use it as a stock cruiser?

My plans were to take it and make it the full on race car and stop all plans on the Red one and turn it into the cruiser to be honest. Especially considering the Black one sitting there is absolutely stripped options wise.
