UFC is on tonight. Anyone else here a fan?

I've always been a fan of MMA, especially PRIDE until that got destroyed when it was bought out by UFC. Either way this is an interesting card.

Former Amatuer Gold Medalist Wrestler Brock Lesnar (last seen in the WWE) is fighting Frank Mir. I'm not sure what I make of this, Lesnar is ridiculously strong but Mir has some good submissions, one of the best Submission Heavyweights there is.

Yeah.

Lesnar came out like a monster, but that was what got him beat. I'm proud of Mir, he finally looked calm and seems to be over his Motorcycle accident.

Also, Lesnar was very respectable after the loss, gotta give him props for that.

And how about Tim Boetsch? Looks like he's got some promise if he gets some time to prepare.

Lesnar's style looked a little bit like Tank Abbott. Had a feeling though that Mir would get the win, just didn't expect it to be so soon.

I think Mir realized if he didn't win quick, he wasn't going to win.


I think if Lesnar learns to calm down a bit and be faster with his legs and submission defense he'll be a top contender.

Yeah Lesnar was trying to get the quick KO. I can't wait to see his next fight though.

Anyone else think that these two will fight again after Lesnar has gotten more experience?
