No kidding, 2 a gallon isn't terrible. 3 is just downright ridiculous.

Be ready for $4-6 a gallon in the next year or two.

When I was in London quite a few years ago it was 5 pounds a gallon, which was around $10. We're just catching up to the rest of the world.

I would definately be happy with $2 a gallon. Honestly, there's really no reason that it should be this high. Katrina was just an excuse to raise gas prices because they weren't that bad before Katrina.

I filled up today and it was $3.48 for 93. Luckily I wasn't bone dry when I filled up or it would have cost me a lot more tha $25.

Back when I had my Camaro, it got terrible gas mileage. It didn't matter, though, since 93 octane was about $1.00 a gallon. With 3.73 gears and a double pumper my fuel costs were still cheaper than they are now... Oh, the good old days.

LoL. Try paying at least $70 every week and a half for gas. Thats what I get to pay in my truck. And then on top of it, when I get my car going Im going to run a mix of premium and race gas.

Is $70 how much it costs to fill it up or is that when the pump won't let you get anymore? Down here the pumps cut off on my dad's Ram 2500 after $75 or $80 depending on the station... and even then he's still got room in the tank
