Default Wow, been a while since I've been here.

Seems like I need to update you guys on the current status with my Camaro.

First, here's a hint:

That's right, that 700r4 is GONE. World Class T-5 baby!

I don't have any finished pictures, because I'm not completely done. I need to re-wire the reverse lights so they will work, and I am waiting on a speedometer gear housing.. got one of the last brand new ones GM had I guess. The one that's in there was leaking and no one could get the seals right, not even GM so I just got a new one. Can't wait.

The car drives SO much better, I've only put around 150 miles on it since the swap.. and it's been a fun 150 miles, the car accelerates so much better and is all around just better to drive. I love it, feels like a new car.

Down side, the TTII's are gone.. sold them for the transmission swap. It'll have some better wheels on it later, something not so played out. I thought about 18's, but I'm not sure really. Worried about getting the disc brake rear and some 3.73's in it first. And then, I really need to get it in primer or something. After that, the engine. Got a 350 in Oklahoma, just need to start gathering parts once I get some extra cash flow coming in. Hopefully my 305 will last long enough with the way I will drive it, it has some crank play already and the engine only has about 50,000 on it.. not sure how well it really was built when the guy did it, the transmission had 3 missing bolts and the rest were finger tight when I got the car, so yeah..

I'll get more pics later when the interior is put back together.

Hey man, long tiem no see!

And based on the first pic I thought you were giving it a Dr. Pepper machine, but a T-5 swap is just as good.

Would you mind fetching some pictures, Google isn't doing anything for me.

Phil, a Dr. Pepper machine would be AWESOME.
