But i've been turning a rotor before and had a shaving get into my eye, it rusted and I had to goto the doc to get it removed (wasnt a big deal, just some kind of spray thing, hardest part was the damn thing that held my eye open lol). Its my own fault for not wearing safety glasses.

I had the eye thing happen to me but it was from a metal dumbbell I had bought and I scratched my eye after using it, atleast thats how I figure the metal got there. My doc didn't use spray though, he gave me a pain killer and then removed it. I kept moving my head away and he had to get someone to hold me in place.

That happened to me as well, though I was making a mortar tube for some night works for the 4th a few years back.

My biggest headache that's care related though?

The yearly plug changes on my Trans Am or the first time I swapped the cam in it.

So far the dumbest thing ive ever done was the other day i was changing my rotors and brake pads while it was starting to get dark so i was in a hurry to get it all back together... well i just plainly forgot to install the inner wheel bearings... i did the outer but forgot to take the inner out of the old rotors.. needless to say after 5 minutes down the road i ruined my caliper bolts and my spindles... ya live and learn i guess..

everything about my car has been a pain in the ass. As of right now, I will not be taking it to my favorite show of the year. Im still going up because I paid for the room already plus its still fun but I just had to pull my trans AGAIN for the 4th time because when I finally drove my car, I found out that it doesn't have reverse. I think the converter blew up and caused reverse to fail. Its a precision torque converter with a billet cover and I was told there was no way in hell it would break. So between that and the oil that I can not stop from leaking, im pretty sick of working on my car since I havent really been able to drive it for the past year and a half other than a couple test drives after the new motor and trans were put in.
