2002 trans am ws6, red with black racing stripes and black zo6 wheels, supercharger, and the best sounding exhaust i could find

Why is everyone so stuck on twin turbos???

Do it right...get a properly sized single.

Well what do you want? A huge honk'n single that sticks out the hood or two smaller turbos that can fit on what little space you have under the hood or where you exhasut was (squire turbo systems) and not have ground clearance issues? Response? (Twins) Or big power? (single) Sure you can get a proper single that will give you nearly as much response as a set of twins but sometimes it's that 100 fewer RPMS to get the turbos spooled that makes a car drivable. Ask any Big number supra or Pro Am Civic/DSM owner. Big singles have their drawbacks. But the main drawback of a twin setup is cost, and cost they do.

Properly sized single would spool early and still give great power and response.

Too big and you are right.
Twins to me are overkill. Too much heat, too expensive, and not enough room.
