I just wanted to let everyone know that PM Performance just got some excellent news - both of our submissions for the 2007 Hot Rod Pump Gas Drags were accepted! The invite-only race is a single elimination street car shootout in Memphis this summer. Hot Rod only invites 75 cars from around the country each year, and we had to convince them why our '07 cars would be worthy. The result: both Pauls 95 Formula and my 94 Z/28 are in the mix!!
We have to arrive with the modifications we specified in our submissions - so Paul will be bringing his 468 big block swap on spray and I'll be representing stroker single plane LT1s on the bottle. The competition is going to be rediculous and there is only 1 qualifying pass - and they dont even tell you what you ran in it! So I need to stop writing this and get back to work on the car, but here is some info from them: Quote

Awesome news for you guys. I read up on this event 2 years ago, but didn't see anything about it this past year. I'll have to go look in the archives on their site.
Of course good luck when you get there May 12th

![]() Pump gas!!! That is how I like 'em. Not a big fan of having to run race gas, trailering cars, taking so much weight off a car it lost its purpose as a car, etc... Congrats!! Have fun! |

Congrats dude, don't go for broke down there.
100 octane isn't exactly pump gas though. I'd love to see them make you guys run 91.

I go for broke on every race Dont know where you heard the 100 octane part though, its 93 all the way for the cruise and race. I cant even have race gas in the fuel cell I use for the nitrous kit.
